Welcome to the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB), Douala Campus.
CUIB Douala Campus is located at Bonamoussadi, Douala, directly opposite Hotel de France, Parcourt-Vita. CUIB was founded on the 17th of April 2009 by His Lordship Bishop Immanuel Balanjo Bushu with a unique vision to train young Entrepreneurs, Job creators, Innovators, Saints, and Scholars.
In order to better serve our stakeholders and in the realization of our vision which is to have satellite campuses in all regions of Cameroon, CUIB was first extended to Douala. Our mission is to train professional servant leaders with moral and spiritual values, who will innovate, create jobs and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities. We train people with a growth mindset, who are life ready and can easily flourish in a constantly changing landscape. We are Entrepreneurial.

In CUIB, we use a system of teaching and learning: Onsite learning (In the classroom) and Mobile and Ubiquitous learning (Using IT tools such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops). Our students can be taught or can learn from anywhere without difficulties. We are an Afro-American University. We infuse the African traditional education with that of modern America (USA). We learn by doing, that is combining theory with practice under a spiritual and moral foundation.
