The School of Information Technology (SIT) trains dedicated Information Technology professionals who can provide quality services to their communities and are capable of responding to societal, technological, economic and global challenges. SIT provides a dynamic and stimulating environment to study Information Technology in varied ways that computing can be applied to create an impact on society. To reach this goal the School offers three programs that address the Information Technology needs of modern times: Four-year Bachelor’s degrees in Software Engineering and Cyber Security; Two-year Associate degree in Application Development. The School has professional partnerships with foreign universities such as Capitol Technology University (Capitol), a designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, in collaboration with whom it runs the only Cyber Security program in the Central African Sub-region.
